The Lord is my strength. He is always there for me, protecting me,making sure i'm safe.Samson was strong when his hair was long,but when Delilah cut his hair, he grew weak.One day my friend Emmit collins from church told me that a rich person built a house,and one day he gave it away, about a month later he went back and knocked on the door hoping they would let him in. He was all happy,then nobody answers, he knocks again, still no one answers.Then we started talking,what if you dont answer, it might be jesus.

To me god is a shield. He is the ultimate defense. If you go to enter battle the one thing you do not want to forget is your shield. If you don't have your shield, then you are vulnerable , and pretty much dead meat.  So next time you go to fight a spiritual battle, or any battle for that matter,  make sure you equip your shield(or Jesus).

One thing needed for survival is, a fortress. You need a fortress to protect yourself from many things. Such as weather, harmful animals, and to protect our families from invaders. So when the word fortress pops up in a conversation, I automatically think of Jesus. Jesus, reminds me of a fortress, because he takes care of me and makes sure that I do not fall back into Saitin's control. Also, Jesus makes sure that my enemies do not harm us. This is how Jesus is considered a fortress.
